LM Wind Power’s global manufacturing footprint includes factories located on four continents in 8 countries including Denmark, Spain, Poland, Canada, USA, India, China and Brazil – in or close to all key markets for wind power to effectively serve its local and global customers.
The principal shareholders of LM Wind Power are the partnerships managed by Doughty Hanson & Co. Managers Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales and headquartered in London.
LM Wind Power has produced more than 185,000 blades since 1978, corresponding to approximately 77 GW installed wind power capacity which each year effectively saves approximately 147 million tons of CO2. This corresponds to the annual CO2 emissions from electricity used in 20 million (US) homes.
More than one in five turbines in the world have LM Wind Power blades.
